The Australian Custodial Services Association is dedicated to advancing the professional development and education of custody employees. The ACSA accredited program is designed exclusively for custody professionals and is the only training and development course endorsed by the custody and investment administration industry.

The Custody Program


The Custody Program is delivered by Financial Education Professionals. This program is designed to address the training and education needs of those working in custodial services and developing their careers within the industry.

The Custody Program comprises 2 nationally recognised qualifications.

The FNS41115 Certificate IV in Financial Markets Operations has two compulsory subjects:

The Certificate IV is a prerequisite to the Diploma of Financial Markets.


FNS5105 Diploma of Financial Markets has two compulsory subjects


  • Core Custody Operations
    Assessed by closed-book examination

Specialist Custody Operations
Assessed by closed-book examination

Successful completion of these 2 further modules results in a FNS5105 Diploma of Financial Markets.



  • The program is delivered by workshops or by self-study
  • Workshops are facilitated by experienced industry practitioners
  • Flexible self-study format allows students the freedom to study when convenient to them
  • Students are able to enrol in one subject at a time
  • Assessments are conducted progressively with each subject
  • Participants who complete the first two subjects receive their FNS41115 Certificate IV in Financial Markets Operations and can choose to continue on to the FNS51015 Diploma of Financial Markets
  • The program is suitable for participants in custodial services and those servicing the industry including marketing, IT, call centres, legal and human resources professionals. Participants receive comprehensive course materials and practice exam questions.
  • The program content and structure reflects the full value chain within custodial services

The program is undertaken either by workshop or by self-study (online).
