The well-regarded 'Fund Summit' returns in 2019 for its sixth annual event, taking place on Tuesday October 29 at the RACV City Club Melbourne. ACSA is a supporting Association for this year’s event.

Details of the event are outlined below. Note that early bird registration closes on 30 September.  Here is the registration link.

The event serves as a forum for senior asset and wealth management executives to discuss the drivers impacting their firms, the implications for these businesses and how to navigate them. This year's event is being expanded by combining the former asset owner and asset manager forums, and offers an enlarged agenda with two conference streams held over one day. Topics include:

  • Product opportunities and distribution trends
  • Digital transformation and how outsourcing is evolving
  • Ensuring robust investment governance
  • Upcoming regulation (DDO/PIP and member outcomes)
  • Business integration - successfully navigating complex change projects
  • Streamlining workflows and business processes
  • Governance of service providers

ACSA CEO Robert Brown is speaking on the role of technology in increased operational efficiency and will share topics of current industry focus and opportunity.

Conference content will be offered via a mix of presentations, panel sessions, peer discussion and Q&A utilising our digital audience interaction platform. There will also be time for peer discussion through scheduled breaks and networking opportunities.

Attending offers a unique opportunity to hear key industry practitioners from home and abroad on a range of topical issues, with an extensively-researched and independent agenda - in addition to useful discussion and networking opportunities.
